Continuous CME / Training of Members
AAPP mandates ongoing professional development, including Continuing Medical Education (CME) hours dedicated to aesthetic medicine. Regular training is offered via virtual masterclasses, workshops, and hands-on cadaver sessions—ensuring members stay updated in technologies like laser, fillers, botulinum toxins, and AI diagnostics.
Patient Safety, Care & Guidance in Aesthetic Procedures
AAPP advocates a patient-first approach. Members are required to adhere to safety protocols such as informed consent, pre-procedure screening, emergency readiness (e.g., management of allergic or vascular complications), and specific guidelines for new procedures. Ranking Aesthetic Clinics
AAPP maintains a clinic ranking system to encourage transparency and quality. Ranking criteria include qualifications (e.g., board-certified physicians), safety protocols, infrastructure, technology use (e.g., AIenabled imaging and alert systems), patient feedback, and incident rates.
